They're going down to the Olympics (as has been said God knows how many times) so there's no point in them entering service up here, only to be taken out of service weeks later to go to London. And as CX54 said, they're likely to need PDI's etc before going down.

Strange that they seem to be doing the pdi's at manc a depot that is nearly closed

would have thought LS would have been better after they did some pulsars on the

last new batch
