I agree i miss it too, at least you could browse what timetables there were and other services existed other than just yours!
If everyone emails merseytravel about them the may change their minds....

I did, soon after the website "improvement", but just got a typical "we know best" reply, referring me to the journey planner link. The planner works, but in my opinion it offers too many options,
