The sprinters have coped fine for 5 years with the passengers and the trollies. The route is in 3 sections so the passenger numbers might be suitable but they did plan on putting Mellors onto the service. It would suit Optare Solos and some ex Yorkshire ones are being moved onto North West. The same Green Lane drivers are operating the route together with the 201 and Clatterbridge shuttle so there was no reason to move it to Speke.
