I bought the latest version of Buses mag today. I have no idea what the editor is on. As is well known, Northern Ireland is not part of the Republic of Ireland and therefore Transport for Ireland cannot be held responsible for buying buses for Translink with a premium of £220,000. Transport for Ireland is in effect an operating name for transport in the republic, the National Transport Authority actually would be the buyer of buses, trams and trains. But not for Translink! |
