Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has died aged 76 following a battle with terminal cancer.

He was the first non-British manager of the England national football team, serving from 2001 until his early departure in 2006. He additionally had stints managing Manchester City and Leicester City. He also managed teams in his native Sweden, Italy, Portugal, China, as well as the Mexico, Ivory Coast, and Philippines national teams. He also managed the LFC Legends for their charity match against Ajax in March this year, a wish that he had always wanted to do.
