Most retail companies have been following the trend of not opening on Boxing Day to allow staff time with their families, on top of most Boxing Day sales being held online from midnight rather than the 5am openings.

I’d imagine for Arriva all services will be worked from Green Lane Depot including the Speke Merseytravel routes

The christmas and New Year pdf is so late this year , probably means Merseytravel are seriously not in a happy place with both Stagecoach and Arriva not operating a largely commercial service on Boxing Day , New Years Day was always a notoriously slower day .
