To be fair one of the biggest draws to passengers using Boxing Day services was to travel to/from retail destinations for both leisure and work.

Most retail companies have been following the trend of not opening on Boxing Day to allow staff time with their families, on top of most Boxing Day sales being held online from midnight rather than the 5am openings.

I’d imagine for Arriva all services will be worked from Green Lane Depot including the Speke Merseytravel routes
