RE: Go Goodwins
Weekday times will change on the 391/392 from next Monday (6th December) due to issues with driver numbers at Little Gem. The Saturday timetable will be used on weekdays, meaning a reduction in combined frequency from every hour to every 90 minutes (every 3 hours on each service). However, there will be an additional afternoon journey at 1750 from Macclesfield to Poynton and from Stockport to Middlewood.
From Little Gem:
Quote:Service 391 & 392 Emergancy Timetable Changes
Due to the ongoing struggles faced by the public transport industry, Local Authorities are looking at ways of working with Operators to help with any shortages, whilst keeping services running as best they can.
Unfortunately, we are one of many companies who are facing difficulties in terms of driver numbers, and as such, we are speaking with Cheshire East Council/ TSS & Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) to agree on ways that we can keep services moving, whilst also making sure there is a suitable level of service for you, our customers.
With this in mind, we have agreed with Cheshire East & TSS to reduce the frequency of the 391 & 392 services to match the current Saturday service, with each service operating every 3 hours, alternating every 90 minutes. There will be an extra journey at 17:50 both from Macclesfield & Stockport, which will terminate at Poynton and Middlewood respectively. The morning journey from Middlewood to Stockport at 06:48 will not operate, with the first journey from both Macclesfield & Stockport at 07:20.
Current journeys on Saturdays are unaffected.
These changes are hoped not to be permanent, and when the current situation finds us in a better position, the normal level of service will be reinstated.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this is likely to cause, but we hope that you will understand the situation we find ourselves in.
