I honestly think there would be more demand for an evening / Sunday 288 towards East Didsbury once hospitality sector starts picking up again, than trying to get the 88 to work again especially when it is a different operator to the daytime. I do honestly believe that if the 88 was slightly amended to serve Manchester Airport, it would free the duplication caused with the 288 whilst providing a bus link between the Airport and Wilmslow. I know that this would be useful as when D&G briefly had the 130 between Airport and Wilmslow it was being used between these points including with SystemOne and concessionary holders.
