It's not really a fair comparison though, I don't think a lot of people use the 76 as a way to get to Oldham as it takes nearly an hour compared to 40 minutes on an 84 and 37 on an 83.

Also the 3 services to Ashton, only the 216 is direct. The 230 takes a rather circuitous route around Littlemoss and the 231 is even less direct, going all the way to Hartshead and taking a full hour end to end.
