Oldham - Royal Oldham Hospital - Royton - Kirkholt or Queensway - Roch Valley - Fairfield General Hospital - Bury. This route would give a much-needed connection to Fairfield Hospital from Oldham Hospital and give the Oldham resident a connection for visiting without the need to go into Manchester or Rochdale for connection theses destinations. they have always routed a bury connect via Middleton which never works because you have already got connections to bury there but folks who live in Royton are stuck because a lack of variety of connections and Middleton and Rochdale are there only options for a bury connection and Rochdale is more important for a Fairfield Hospital connection.

Another route which is much needed in Oldham is a route to the Trafford Centre once again but not routing by the Motorway instead routing the route via Salford Royal and Eccles to allow for work access in this part of manchester

Oldham - Chadderton - Mills Hill - Middleton - Heaton Park - Leicester Road - Salford - Salford Royal - Eccles - Trafford Park - Trafford Centre

This would open up so many new connections and work opportunity for Oldham and Middleton I do understand this route is long but surely if they used to run a route from Manchester to Huddersfield they surely could run a service like this

I remember 2 decades ago getting a bus to the Trafford centre from Oldham, First was still red and we got to town on a Metrobus that’s how long ago it was.

Funny thing is from the Lever Street stop there are 3 services to Ashton alone at a shared frequency of less than every 10 mins at peak times, while there is a single 76/A every 20 mins at the exact same time again to the largest town in Greater Manchester. It’s like they don’t think that some of us commute and not everyone lives near a metrolink station.
