Engineering, as I say, I can't comment on and while I can partly understand the point. That bus from Barnsley bus looks awful and I think a few logos can't cost that much to smarten it up.
The midlands ones though have had 2 years to be smartened so it's not a recent Covid thing.

I'm currently saving to startup. I'd prefer to fund more of the venture myself rather than funding it so much by bank loans. IS that a problem? How dare anyone criticize your beloved Rock Ferry Depot. I'll praise companies where it's due and criticize when it's due. All bus companies pre Covid were heavily promoting to get people onto bus and now companies are pushing people to come back to bus. You can't push people back onto bus when some of the buses are coming out looking as poor as they do and by reducing the offering. It's counter intuitive.
