For the best example of keeping fares really low as a result of multi operator tickets, you would be looking at Merseytravel. And they would have to vote on it and a number of the companies don't have there own weekly's then it takes 1 to say no we will do a cheap week ticket and then system one does not work as people would not buy it. There was once the GM Buses Daysaver that GMS and GMN could of carried on. and same with first day tickets could of had a agreement to keep DNW / GNW as part of the First day group like Sheffend does. with stagecoach and first having joint tickets. also TFGM has a say on System one with Metrolink |
