Perhaps the whingeing punters need to direct their anger in the Westminster direction.

I wouldn't say it's all Westminsters fault but councils are also to blame for some of their weird active travel measures which got brought out meaning that more traffic is being pushed into some areas. Manchester City Council have just sneezed road and lane closures everywhere so that won't be helping things.
