In theory, they're like ex-London buses - they've ran around Liverpool for most of their lives, so they've started to break when the allocator has put them on demanding, longer-distance services, such as the 311! Generally, though, they're a nice batch - certainly put a lot of newer buses to shame!(20/08/2012 18:56)27701 Wrote:The T-PNB darts were nice buses once, shame how they have ended up really, they went downhill when they came off the city circulars.(20/08/2012 18:52)MPTE1955 Wrote: 2234 was on the 62 this afternoon, also passing the depot on the 61 , 2317 was still in the same spot that it was in last week which is in the car park, probably hasnt been out so if it has not been wonder what the future holds for this dart shed.2317 used to be a really good bus. I remember when it turned into a "shed" - it was when Bootle ran the C2/C3/C4. It had a loud, one-pitch-only cooling-fan - even the driver, who I knew, said it didn't sound very good. I wouldn't mind if it came back into service for a while; it'd be nice to ride on a "childhood bus" again. I wonder if anybody will preserve one, or am I going too far?! ![]() View my new Flickr ![]() |
