The first incarnation of the 22 before Stagecoach pulled the route first time round was operated by Chester ,only reason second time round it was operated by Rock Ferry is they had no spare room for the vehicles because the depot was full at Chester , same goes for the two routes operating in and around Ellesmere Port.

Stagecoach hierachy must think Rock ferry worthy to give all of the Chester - Liverpool market to them.
