Compare the turn out figures for the EU referendum to the figures for any general or local election in the last 10 years and you will see a massive difference. That to me says people arnt too lazy to go out and vote but are frustrated by what's on offer.

Aaargh! Now, I'm agreeing wholeheartedly with you! This has to stop. But seriously, I recently calculated I have been entitled to vote at around 50 Elections (including two referenda) and I have been canvassed just ONCE.
