Are you saying that bus deregulation in 1986 and the dismemberment of GMPTE, the subsequent chaos that followed in Manchester and everywhere else outside of London and the current private monopolies that now exist and are only answerable to their shareholders isn't related to politics?

The quality of the air that we breathe as we sit on a delayed bus in gridlocked traffic is ultimately the consequence of a political decision or, more likely, the lack of one.
