A busy weekend in the Liverpool area and Northern have excelled themselves again - it's been confirmed that on Sunday, Wavertree Technology Park, Broad Green will only be served by rail replacement bus (or they advise people that tickets will be valid on Arriva buses of comparable routes), Also services to Wigan will only be hourly due to Conductor shortages. This along with the reduced service on Saturday due to industrial action and also some cancellations the evening due to staff shortages, words fail me as to how bad this franchise has become. Cue even more bad press regarding overcrowded trains and reduced services - I think we can say it's not the best advertisement for the area's public transport. |
