900RWX was previously on a Plaxton-bodied B10M used by Rapsons on National Express service 588 from Inverness to London. After they lost the NX contract, it was used on local and Citylink services until Stagecoach bought Rapsons in 2008.

When the B10M was disposed of, presumably the registration was transferred to the current vehicle.
