Any idea what the actual problem is or was , considering most of Liverpool Lime street is in a possession blockade it must have been serious for the service to be temporary suspended .

Track circuit failure and buses are running to Edge Hill to connect into/out of Wigan services.May as well run 1 train an hour if that's what Network Rail can offer rather than none
