For a trip to Leeds on june 23rd i did consider booking Northern Rail advance tickets via Hebden Bridge. As it would have been as slow as National Express I booked the coach instead. Just as well now that there is another Northern Rail strike. I thought any Saturday strikes were at times of clear disruption eg the Grand National or a Bank Holiday weekend, rather than such a "random" Saturday. |
