Two coaches have arrived recently. SN08CNJ - [PHOTO SN08CNJ] a Scania K340IB4 / Irizar - C70F as new to Doigs, Glasgow in April 2008. It has been more recently with Turbostyle, Crawley. Arriving this week is E11SPG a Scania K380EB4 / Irizar PB - C49Ft originally YN08JBX when new to Buzzlines, Hythe. It has come from Freestones Coaches, Norfolk - [PHOTO - E11SPG]

This week YJ03VOA a Volvo B12M / Plaxton Paragon which has recently been converted to C70F has joined the fleet. It was new in May 2003 to Wallace Arnold Coaches, has been with Shearings, National Holidays and more recently with Derighetti & Robertson, Kirkcaldy - PHOTO

Bova MNZ1193 has gone to Davies Motors, Ruthin for breaking. Also going to the same dealer is LUI7863 (DAF SB3000 / Van Hool)

D Jones and Son, Acrefair

Today (5th October 2017) the business was called to a Public Inquiry by the Traffic Commissioner. The outcome is that the partners have been given a warning after certain undertakings were given. The Transport Manager - Gary Jones has not lost his 'repute' although Nick Jones, the Commissioner, indicated it had been 'tarnished'

It appears that the issue related to administration matters mainly involving the way in which maintenance records were being maintained. The Vehicle Examiner giving evidence indicated from the inspections he conducted that he was satisfied that the vehicles had been 'well maintained'.
