Their are problems in both Runcorn and Widnes over the weekend with two major roads closed in connection with the Merseygate,

The Ford Road been one from just passed the Knowsley Expressway so long delays on the diversion,

Most have been a driver who seeing how bad it was been getting so would have better to go up the M62 to Rainhill then down the Widnes Bypass, no stops would have been missed out doing this would have put about 10 to 15 mins on the trip better than been stuck for 40 to 50 mins on Ditton Road
