It only takes 4 hours to do a full round trip:
352 st helens to wigan 50 mins
395 wigan to skelmersdale 50 mins
313 circular 20 mins
395 skelmersdale to wigan 50 mins
352 wigan to st helens 50 mins
Spare mins in between are used as drop backs at either end of each journey.
