With Runcorn's unreliability record, I don't think that they could afford to keep a brand-new bus out of service all day, just in case something on one service breaks down. At least the one on the 110 wasn't a branded example, though - and at least the bus on the X1 wasn't a Cadet!

I Went to L1` To catch a X1 on the 24th, And i ended up with a cadet >, Quite annoying Really!

If you were after a new Pulsar 2, you should have just waited 30 minutes for the next one...! Simple, really.
