This does kind of make sense. Ever since Goodwins started operating tenders again they set the bar very high with brand new solos with polished air horns and immaculatly turned out every day - even the excels used on schools looked well but in the last 12 months there seems to have been a change of direction with the new buses sold and replaced with older second ones, some briefly used in previous operators liverys and generally not as well cared for as they previously were. They also seem to buy and sell vehiches. The Enviro400's were acquired and immediately put on eBay for sale and they currently have a coach for se on there. |

RE: Go Goodwins
I believe the sales of newer stock were to back the MOT Centre in it's first 12 months. Now this is proving successful, new buses could be arriving soon. The Enviro200s all went because they employed ex Optare fitters. It's not really a huge matter of concern having older stuff, there's a lot that definitely look the part in advertising liveries! And for me doing a lot better than the likes of MCT or M Travel where driver recruitment is concerned! --- Thanks Ant Check out my YouTube Channel updated regularly at 18:00 Most Days; https://www.youtube.com/c/apdmediatransp...nel/videos Check out my content on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/envirohunter https://www.flickr.com/photos/envirohunter/albums Updated recently with a trip down to the South Coast in 2021 & Railway Pictures from 2017. |

Are they likley to stay with the Goodwins or switch to little gem. Plus I'm sure I read that they had ordered a brand new MMC for a private school contract I'm certain that will be in Goodwins livery as it will be used on private hires too. |

Confirmed on companies house site. The little gem bus company ltd, incorporated 3rd may 2013. Previous company names, Goodwins classic coaches ltd 3rd may 2013 - 26th October 2016 |

Can only assume they've ceased the classic tours and the final 2 kept vehicles ETC760B and JRV500F will depart unless to be kept for private hire but looks unlikely. |
