I have seen an e-mail this morning saying that 10603/16/7 were parked in the yard, and have yet to enter service. 10610 has been in service at least a month, so might have just been moving around the yard to make space for something else inside the depot Now I think about it, 10610 was inside the depot, the other three outside, sorry if I caused confusion. Traveline's Journey Planner showing some of the new timetables post September changes. The new 24 service will form a 10 minute frequency with services 23 and 23A between Stockport and Stretford before continuing to MediaCityUK via Park Road, Mosley Road, Village Way, Warren Bruce Road, Trafford Wharf Road, Trafford Road, Broadway and The Quays. New circular services 56/57 replaces the Monday-Saturday daytime service 64 (although omitting Dam Head) before following the 156 route between Bank House and Manchester via North Manchester General Hospital. Services 56, 57 and 156 will create a 15 minute frequency between Bank House and Manchester. |

About 5-30[teatime] today at Stockport Bus station. I saw 10618 on the 325 and 10624 on the 11A. 10615 was on the 203 and 22405 was in the ''naughty corner'' of the outside compound blocked in by cars. |

I have also seen some new Enviro 400-MMCs on Stockport routes this week:- 10618 on routes 368 & 384 10619 on route 23a *** 10620 on route 384 10621 on routes 192 & 384 10624 on route 384 *** This one I saw on Monday, my first sighting of an ST example. My hunch is that they are for routes 23/a/24 but are being driver-trained and trialled across many routes initially. At Stockport bus garage we can now see Enviro 400-MMCs from ST on local routes, from HE on route 203, from AZ on route 330 and occasionally from SH on route 42! |

You've got the 31 based at AZ which all apear on Ashton services, Sharston depots on 168/169 and technically HE's COULD appear on their varied 219. I believe one was used on the 237N a couple of weekends ago so they do about. The majority of HE's workings on 219 seems to be on a Sunday so keep eyes open lol. |

RE: Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
Unfortanatly my phone won't let me share the link but the MEN reported on Thursday/Friday that MD of Stagecoach Manchester Chris Bowles is to retire later in the year (November I think), although he is staying on in a development role. He took the opportunity to launch scathing critisium on the road works and endless traffic lights blighting the city centre. Hopefully someone will post the link but it seemed to me like he was having a bit of a dig at Manchester city Council and TFGM. Be interesting to see who takes over the role. |
