If and when the new deckers arrive for Liverpool depots will they be MMC's? Other areas of the Arriva empire are now receiving MMC's rather than the old Enviro400 design.

RE: Arrivas Cost Cutting
Whenever they turn up the vehicle pvrs and staff have still been reduced. And instead of having to replace nearly 100 vehicles it's only a small chunk having to be ordered instead to satisfy the original actual requirements

They should be MMC's if they're brand new ADL 400's as the old design finished last year

Yes they will be MMCs but I don't know when they're arriving. The order is for around 50 buses with around half of the order being for Green Lane and the other half due for Speke

The 79C saved 4 buses.
And then by redistributing some vehicles between depots this year that is how all the X/Y reg vehicles are being phased out with zero investment since the last batch of deckers. Its why they havent really been very competitive lately in terms of new or improved services and winning contracts.

the 79/79c saved 3 buses but the 110 service as had a bus added into the allocation so were as there was only 2 min recovery they now drop back at Warrington

500/699 reduced

I'm sure the 699 PVR hasn't been reduced. Still should be a total PVR of 9 with 5 used during the off-peak period on weekdays. The timetable for September 2016 appears virtually identical to what it was when I was at uni.

Overall, Speke's PVR hasn't actually gone down anyway because the 79 PVR was increased by two buses at the end of last summer. IIRC, there were other routes which had a bus or two added to the PVR to increase reliability (was the 10/10A one?) so it's not necessarily a net reduction of 5 buses at each depot.

The 10 was reduced from 5 buses to 4 per hour. I think the 10A remains as it was.

As an aside, still talking Arriva here but the conducterless trains is bound to be part of the cost cutting measures.

The 10 was reduced some time ago now, Wythenshawe have lost 4 School Contracts and gained only 1 so that should release a DLP or 2
