Didn't Jim Stones already run the 596?

Also regarding GHA, read on another forum that some contracts that had been awarded to them have now been re awarded to other operators so the 300 could be a case of that. Another is Arriva continuing with the 37 evening service.

The change for HTL is just the dropping of the 17:26 Monday to Friday 288

New timetable is online on the Merseytravel website, even though the changes section of the Merseytravel site says there are no planned changes to anything!

Looking at their Facebook page and registrations they cancelled a number of commercial services in December due to falling passenger numbers. However, TfGM put the 596 out to tender and awarded the contract to Jim Stones. So the registration got cancelled and they had to submit a new one when they won the tender award.
