Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
RE: Arriva Buses Wales - Wrexham Depot
Looks like 28 seater. I have to second the comments about the window surrounds, it does look odd. Also doesnt have the P45 nearside mirror, shouldnt be any problems for the drivers there

Not a fan of that drivers side, Arriva seem to struggle to fit their livery to Enviro single deckers. The Enviro200s at Southport and Enviro300s in the Shires spring to mind.

All it needs if black around the windows and then the skirt to curve onto the bumper otherwise theyd look perfect but its a hard body to actually put the interurban livery on to and Jack your also forgetting Manchesters Enviro300s.

Hadn't forgotten them I'm just used to them being in the old livery, haven't seen one in the new livery in the flesh yet. But you're right it is a difficult body to get the livery right on.

Not something to be excited by for sure but they do have black window surrounds which is a plus i guess, indeed it is but i think they look alright they just really do need some black around them windows and the skirt to curve on the bumper then its all good Smile

They're probably one of the ugliest looking buses/liveries I've ever seen, and I'm going to be having them pass my window every 30 mins!

I think this example is much better looking.

I agree that does look much better with the window surrounds - or as shown in the photograph - bonded glazing. Nevertheless I think it is excellent to see Wrexham receiving some new vehicles again as it's been well over over six years since the Pulsars were delivered for the 1 back in early 2009

That really is excellent news LJ51 - it's about time that Wrexham depot received some serious investment in their fleet

It'll be interesting to see if the new stock arrives for the 1 next year where the existing stock operating the route ends up. Perhaps they could move to Southport to convert the 47 to Sapphire standard?
