According to this Victoria place (Seacombe) be closed and a special park and ride bus from the Dips in New Brighton will run any idea who's operating it

Just read this on the Echo - it will be interesting to see what happens here with so many people potentially reliant on national train services from Lime Street. Obviously the impact on Merseyrail could also be enormous, but it isn't the be all and end all for local people as they can make alternative arrangements - which will no doubt stretch the bus services beyond their planned potential?

Extra bus services are being provided on the Bank Holiday Monday by Stagecoach. Not sure if Arriva are as well but I assume they will be as i think its Merseytravel who have asked for extra services to be put on.

Arriva are putting extra services on running into liverpool as merseytravel are paying towards drivers wages .

They will be needed as it's looking very likely that the trains will be off due to the Network Rail strike.

Highly likely that Merseyrail will not be able to run any services on the Tuesday IF the strike goes ahead .

With Tuesday being a working day in Liverpool could be an interesting day at the Mersey Tunnels.

All Cross river services will take a pounding on Monday and Tuesday , im sure even with double deckers there will be passengers left behind in some places.
