Isle Of Man Transport Heritage Vehicle 117, a 1927 Leyland Lion new to Manxland Bus Services, has been transferred by low loader from Port Erin Depot to Banks Circus where it will be fully restored by Bus Vannin.

117 has been at Port Erin Depot since the Buses Through the Ages Display during Transport Festival, before which it was stored in Homefield Depot followed by a period on display at Jurby Transport Museum.

One more Sprinter minibus (143) is on order and should be here February 15. Meanwhile 141 is off road with a design fault. Both 141 and 142 will need to go back to Evobus at Coventry for warranty remedial works.

That's excellent news. Do you know if 143 will be a Euro V or Euro IV model?

Cheers!

Bloody 16:40 4 service from Douglas, They need to put a different bus on than the Sprinter. So many people get on that never put a bigger bus on. Only need a Wright StreetLite Max!

It wasn't an article, it was a summary I had provided of the scheduled changes which have now come into affect. There's little point to my edited post, as it contained little info on the changes.

Bus Vannin have now taken delivery of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter City 143, registered MAN-43-H. 143 has not yet entered service. Bus Vannin also have another five Mercedes-Benz Sprinter City Minibuses on order, and are looking at introducing Dial-A-Bus Services.

I did have a valid reason to edit the post. You posted a copy of the poster for the GoCard onto the forum which wasn't needed - a simple link would have sufficed. I have asked you twice by a comment in your posts to provide either only the first paragraph and a link - or just a summary of the news and a link the article. These requests can be seen here and here

The list of route changes that you posted was largely reworded information from this PDF document from the Travelwatch Isle of Man website

Whilst I don't doubt the third Sprinter City 35 minibus has arrived - I have asked you in the past via private message to credit the source(s) for the information that you share on this forum. At least then forum members or guests who read the information other forum members have shared know where it has come from
