Arriva North West and Wales Trainers
First of all apologies if a thread for the trainers already exists - I could not find anything. Does anyone have a full list for where the trainers are allocated, I have the following: 8201-Speke 8202-Speke 8203-Bolton 8204-Green Lane 8205-Rhyl 8207-?? 8214-Southport 8218-?? 8219-Rhyl 8223-?? 8229-Birkenhead 8232-Bolton 8245-Green Lane Thanks for any help with completing/updating this list. |

RE: Arriva North West and Wales Trainers
I've seen 8229 in south Liverpool a few times over the past few months, including at least twice on Aigburth Road. I presumed therefore that it was at Speke, since I wouldn't expect it to frequent that area if it was based in Birkenhead. I don't know for certain, though. |

RE: Arriva North West and Wales Trainers
8218 (L508 TKA) B10B/Endurance is now withdrawn at the SH Bodyshop (check MM post in that thread, dated 18 August). Pretty certain this is because 8218 (or 6508 if you like) has reached her 20 year age limit (new April 1994) Looks like 8214 (M514 WHF) B10B/Endurance will be the next Trainer to go (new October 1994). Can't imagine Arriva re-taxing her after the end of November. 8232 (M522 WHF) B10B/Endurance will most probably be disposed of at the start of next year. Unless someone wants to buy her.... |

Originally 6529, but now lettered as 8702 (M529 WHF), it seems to be on permanent loan to Salford City Council as an exhibition bus. It's NOT a Trainer, but I suppose Arriva could still use it as a temporary one, seeing as they still own it.
