RE: Merseyrail
So the Station Refurbishment project has used three different operators other than Arriva .
Selwyns , Peoplesbus and Stagecoach.
You do wonder with Stagecoach now on stream for Rail Replacements possibly as well that there could be more variety in the near future .

Selwyn's & Peoplesbus were used in conjunction with Abellio. It was Abellio who won the contract and subbed it out.

Nope. Stagecoaches own buses. I was informed by one of Stagecoaches directors that 4 buses that were used for the games in Glasgow will be used for this work.

RE: Merseyrail
Due to tonights incident in the Runcorn area , Virgin Trains tickets had been accepted by both Arriva Trains Wales and Merseyrail between Crewe and Chester and also between Chester and Liverpool Lime Street , Merseyrail was also accepting tickets between Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool.
There was also a delays due to an emergency speed restriction in Dingle Tunnel for services on the Hunts Cross to Southport line
