It could well be Peoplesbus and the Selwyns operation was just to fulfil their existing contract duration. It'll be interesting to see anyway. |

Planned changes 5th - 12th July 2014: Planned changes to bus services Mersey Tunnels The following services are changing this week: 57C, 58C Bootle - Netherton run by Cumfybus Both these services will be withdrawn from 6 July. 135, 235 Aintree - Bootle run by Cumfybus 144, 145 Bootle - Litherland run by Cumfybus Update: Route Y1, which ran between Prescot and Cronton was withdrawn on 30 June. |

I rang up and asked today. It's the curennt commercial fare charge by the incumbent operator, in this case cumfybus on the 144 an 135 so customers won't notice any difference in fares. Obviously keeps merseytravels costs down too as they keep the fares. |

Wonders whether this is the start of differential bus fare pricing for daytime and Evening / Sunday contract work as an experiment . |
