Seen one on school service 771 yesterday. Not the best one to send it on, with it being the smokers' bus and all.

Even though smoking has been prohibited on Stagecoach buses for about 15 years now, and illegal for 7 of those.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
People that smoke on buses just have no respect for the people around them and are a disgrace, a couple of weeks ago I was on an Arriva dart in Liverpool when this pair of idiots were passing the cigarette from one to the other. That was the first time I had seen anybody smoking on a bus for a long long time.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Well traveled Solos 47001 & 47002 are now currently allocated to Middleton Depot, not to sure if loaned or officially transferred.
Also the new Hybrids at Sharston have entered service now and today they were out in service on 42s and 43s but not on 111s as previously thought

Would say they are transfers as Ashton never much needed 47001 and 47002 being constantly stationery out of use at Stockport doing nothing.
At least Middleton have 2 more buses which can be safe for use at night too as a good couple of buses certainly do not look safe at night e.g the interior colour, lighting quality and CCTV.
Have all of the Hybrids arrived at Sharston?

I think most of the hybrids have arrived in Sharston now. At least 8 of the 11 have arrived.
Talking of Ashton solos, what is happening with 47559 these days? They seem to have spent a lot of money getting it back on the road but I haven't seen it in service since it came back.
