I also seen one on the 16 (intended to ride on it but I didn't realise that the service paused to accommodate a school service/school services...) and one on the 247 (4164 - photo to follow as soon as possible) this afternoon!

They're pretty much normal allocations on the 16 Monday to Saturday these days.

That is interesting if the DLPs now run on route 16 on Saturdays. I shall try and ride one once the Finglands routes are replaced by First in the area.

Just a thought: Could Arriva increase their buses on route 19 to try to drive Finglands and soon First off the route?

Arriva don't need to drive Finglands off the 19 route anymore as of the start of the year Finglands have finally pulled of the route and now only operate the tendered journeys in the evening and the 19 timetable is virtually back to how it was now with a bus every 15mins during the day Mon-Fri and every 20mins on Saturdays

Oh sorry. Finglands were still running as recently as Sat 28 Dec and it didn't occur to me they had withdrawn their commercial journeys. Oh well, just as well I saw one then. I therefore doubt that First will run any commercial 19s if/when they take over Finglands.

Anybody know whether the presidents are still doing odd journey on the 16? Heading into puff now on 2628 & was hoping to catch some form of decker on the 16/263 today.

Today at around 11:20 4162 failed on firsway whilst heading bk to picc gardens. Driver wasn't bothered though as he got chance for an extra cuppa & a fag! Short while after hopped on 4166 most rateable president outta the bunch.

Services 16, 18, 19, 130, 245, 247, 263, 272, 300, 370 and ML1 operate from Wythenshawe depot = 11 services plus school buses.
