Some of the 's' reg's in operation at the moment sound far better than many of the 'X' s

I used to think that when AZ had a mixed bag of MANs (before the Enviro200s arrived!). The S and T reg examples seemed to perform better than most of the X reg ones. They always seemed to be dogged with gearbox problems.

I saw a few Enviro 400's, an ALX400 and a Magic Bus ALX400.

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
At least 4 or more ALX400 Magibuses out on Victoria/Salford Central Rail Replacements today along with the usual Enviro 400s and odd MAN, seems for some reason these have been getting the oddities with the Stalybridge services being wall-wall Enviro 400s

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Reports on another site seem to suggest only 37034 will now be based at AZ with 37035/6/7 all at ST. Apparently Dart 33100 and at least one other Dart [possibly 33099] and moved to HE.

Seems ashame AZ only gets one new vehicle but hopefully they should get some younger Enviro400's once the remaining E400H's have been delivered.

Best bets 22055/6 will remain at AZ. 22184/6/9 would go into reserve along with 22185 which had been put into reserve 3 months ago. Enviro400s 19164 and 19168 now at Ashton with possibility of more to come displacing the 56 reg Enviro400s

Hopefully Benzo.
To be honest I'd much rather see younger Enviro400's allocated to AZ rather than more Enviro200's.

Although it will be interesting to see whether 37034 is allocated to one certain service or whether it will just be mixed in with the other Enviro200 workings.

Id agree with you on AZ to get younger Enviro400s. Probably Hyde Rds youngest batch 19504 to 13. More Enviro200s would cause peak time capacity issues as when they appear more regular on the peak 236/7s. Enviro400s surely. Seen 37034 on the 346s and night 236/7s. it would probably freely roam on routes 217/8 347 or even 231

I dont, younger midis are a good investment, they do have some oldens and well the enviro 400s couod easily go for another 5 years, even thr 58 plates... just cause they aint new or hybrids doesn't mean they need replacing soon

Better not be. Seriously, that service can get extremely packed with only a 30 minute frequency to Ashton and 15 minute as far as littlemoss

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
Stagecoach to add more journeys on the X34 service from the end of the month. Additional weekday journeys will run at 1612 from Manchester and 1721 from Leigh (this should be in addition to the the 1624 journey from Manchester and 1737 journey from Leigh). Meanwhile, the previously added weekday journeys at 1855 from Leigh and 2002 from Manchester will also run on Saturdays.

A couple of other changes to ex-Bluebird services also scheduled for the end of the month, according to TfGM. The 112 journeys that run via Albert Square will revert back to being numbered 113, while the short journeys on the 151 between Newton Heath and Monsall will be re-numbered 150 and run via Central Park Metrolink stop.
