Yeah, like them fantastic 07 reg B9's LOL To me, they were the most awful buses ever made, with the purple leather seats.

I miss those B9s. They were lovely, comfortable and far better for the nearly hour and half journey that they were used for. I couldn't be on an Enviro400 all the way to Manchester. Also, the Enviro400 sounds rather like a hair dryer, and that gets annoying after a while.

I imagine that ^ would be more appreciated in the First Manchester thread

there is a standed fault with the B9s that is that the cooling fans can break and then the bus sounds really loud

33174 broken down at Ashton bus stn exit today and this big recovery truck came though they would have used 97014

I noticed that as well today. It had been on taxi duties but failed to go into gear when the traffic lights turned green.

Apparently all recovery work is contracted out now, I've not seen 97014 recover a vehicle for a while unless its still used around Stockport.
