so its possible one of the ones is still going, i do remember them saying they was geeting 90 percent of arrivas services so they would need 90 percent of arrivas buses, if anyone does come across a photo of one in service up there i would quite like to see it Smile

I believe they had started to repaint vehicles into the McGills livery, but due to the Competition Commission launching their enquiry they stopped and repainted the newly painted buses into a sort of 'Hybrid livery'

Still on the one of the latest fleet lists was N123 DWM (1123) and N104 YVU (1121)

Correct mate, it got refurbed, seen service at St Helens and Green Lane, before then sitting in Bootle for a while. It then got sent to Runcorn to get mechanical work done before heading north, would have been only a few weeks before McGills official takeover.
Referring back to July's Buses magazine, it states the following vehicles were acquired from Arriva by way of Ultralows and all that (Arriva Scotland numbers):
1121 N104 YVU
1123 N123 DWM
2606 N606 CKA
2608 N608 CKA
2609 N609 CKA
2611 N611 CKA
2615 N615 CKA
2616 N616 CKA

All vehicles are reported to have been in the reserve fleet as of March. This is just what Buses says, I know its unreliable and out of date and all that balls, but make what you will of the above!

N104 YVU and N123 DWM are both on SORN as are all the Volvos mentioned in your above post and have been since April/May. Also, here is the former CX55 EAE "back" in old Arriva livery, in a fashion:

Oh Superman where are you now, when everything's gone wrong somehow, the men of steel, the men of power, are losing control by the hour.
