Curiousity Corner
Thought I'd start something new for those vehicles in preservation which can classed as oddities. Was at the Chesterfield Running Day today and as well as seeing Chesterfield 124 (which visited Merseyside and MTT Running Day last weekend), I came across a strange little vehicle. A 1967 Dennis Pax, originally with Llandudno UDC but spent most of it's later years with Peakbus. Now that is strange looking thing, looks like it belongs well before the year it was actually new. |

Certainly proves that in the years after deregulation, smaller operators would run anything they could get their hands on. |

Pleased to say that this vehicle made an appearance at the Wirral Bus & Tram Show back in it's original livery and looked sparkling - a far cry from just over 12 months ago. Much credit to her owners and just goes to show what a bit of TLC can do. |
