66747 has now been released from Butterley and gone to the Gbrf base at Peterborough.

GBRf are taking over 6S51 Crewe-Carlisle-Mossend departmental from 29th July and its return working. The service is currently run by D B Schencker. It willb be interesting to see if GBRf use a Class92 on thie service.

They either need them for work being taken on , or they are getting them on a speculative venture before the class 66 design falls foul of European Emissions regulations.

No,GBRF have a shortage of Locos,they are still taking freight flows off
Schenker latest is 6K50 Toton- Crewe & return which will be changing over soon

No,GBRF have a shortage of Locos,they are still taking freight flows off
Schenker latest is 6K50 Toton- Crewe & return which will be changing over soon
Forgot to Mention that GBRF are also taking over the old crewe diesel depot
from Shenker as well

Was not aware Rob of the CD situation. Schencker have lost a lot of engineers trains to I believe both GBRf and DRS. Also rumours abound that Schencker have lost the Dagenham to Garston cars, but to whom?
