RE: Brighton & Hove
I last went to Brighton in October 2010. Quite a bit has already changed since then what with Volvo B9TLs and B5Ls. There is a controversial plan by the Council to curtail buses a little way from Brighton station, even though being a Green Council they should support public transport.

I'm assuming Coach & Bus Week never referred to it a a "sight"?

RE: Brighton & Hove
B&H have put some of their new Wright StreetDecks into service. I've got to say that I really like them and the livery suits them well. Obviously not everyone will agree with me as these buses have certainly split opinion!

RE: Brighton & Hove
It was at one stage promised that these Streetdecks would be of the classic ie Gemini Mark 3 design. However, this has clearly been overtaken by events. The part-green livery also marks a departure from B&H mainly red livery.

Go-Ahead must already have faith in the Streetdecks, as they have ordered 11 for Oxford.

RE: Brighton & Hove
I'm quite fond of the ''Coaster'' livery on the recently purchased Wright Streetdecks. Looks quite attractive in my opinion.

Following the transfer of twelve Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekkas to Go North East, from Brighton & Hove (fleet numbers 6122-6133 with Go North East, I'll source their fleet numbers with Brighton & Hove if anybody would like them; ten are 03-reg and two are 04-reg, the latter two of which were internally refurbished into Go North East's standard blue seating moquette, 6131 and 6133), I recall reading that some more OmniDekkas are expected to come up to Go North East. The arrival of the twelve OmniDekkas has allowed the withdrawal of a decent amount of Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolynes and a few Volvo Olympian/Northern Counties Palatine 2s; I imagine this supposed second wave will clear all of them from the fleet.

I must say I'm really fond of the OmniDekkas, they have so much power.
