RE: Rossendalebus
Rossendale bought a few Scania-Solars from Reading Transport about 6 months ago. Has anyone seen these in service with Rossendale yet? |

RE: Rossendalebus
They've been in service since February, there are a few photos of them in service on Flickr. They appear to be allocated to the Haslingden depot as they have been photographed on routes such as the 464, 483 and 486. |

RE: Rossendalebus
Thanks, so quite easy to locate in Rawtenstall, and potentially Bury or Bolton. I have been hoping to ride scenic route 480, so their location here would be ideal! |

RE: Rossendalebus
Not necessarily true, the Scania Wright Solars generally virtually appear on any route that Rossendalebus operate and swapped between Haslingden and Rochdale on a regular basis, I also know that 464 is operated by both Rochdale and Haslingden depots. I might be wrong but I think Rochdale Depot also operate 468 Rochdale-Bury route which sometimes gets the Scania Solars |

I live on 486 route, and 466 may be Haslingdon as the same drivers also do 480 and 273 as these interwork off each other to Ratwenstall from Bolton |

RE: Rossendalebus
Rover fares changes taking place next weekend. No change to adult tickets apart from the 2 day rover ticket going upto £8.50 but cheaper tickets available for children and teenagers. http://rossendalebus.blogspot.co.uk/2012...ainly.html Also, it looks like the little battle between Rossendalebus and Transdev is continuing with the 482 re-routed to run between Bacup and Bury and the 483 running every 30 mins to/from Burnley from the end of July to fend off Transdev's 8 service from Burnley to Bury via Bacup. |
