RE: Arriva North East
7462 still ignoring the call to move south, working Jesmond service 45 again today. Has its transfer been cancelled or just postponed, does anyone know ?

Temsa 4717 has now been joined by Solo 2826 at Smiles.

Also, Temsa 4717 was still under repair at Smiles, Brunswick today, in the company of two Arriva Denmark open-top double deckers.

From my findings I think all the Scania N113DRB / East Lancs E Types have gone as I haven't seen them since which is very rare unless they have left the fleet. I have seen all the Palatine II's in service as well except from R206 CKO and R207 CKO. Has anyone else seen any of the missing vehicles for shed light onto the vehicles at Durham that have been withdrawn?

More than likely due to there being a MAN service centre over on Bowesfield. Likelyhood to be on a road test.

RE: Arriva North East
Route X21 in a sense needs low-floor buses. I rode an Olympian on it last July.

It is a bit irritating that the Arrivabus website is still updating the east Cleveland map. It occurs to me that I can write a list of routes serving key centres like Middlesbrough, Guisborough, Loftus, Saltburn and Redcar, then look up frequencies and journey lengths on connecting routes.

I rode an EcoCity in Runcorn yesterday and liked the seating. This will alleviate part of the disappointment of their non-operation in Darlington on Sundays.

Apart from the 20/X20 and X15/X18, all Ashington depot services are now included in the new Northumbrian Low Floor Guarantee scheme.

The map will likely not be updated until the autumn when there are planned service changes in the East Cleveland area.

RE: Arriva North East
Fair enough Kuyoyo, I shall draw my own diagram of key routes in the area! My big day there will be May 18th so I shall do this next weekend.

My first port of call will be one of 4660-64, probably one of 4660-62 as I understand these are the only ones at SN, then pot luck from there.

Indeed, only 4660-2 at Stockton and 4664 at Durham. Likely they'll be on the 5 or 5a now the fault that was keeping them on the local stuff seems to have been solved.
