RE: Arriva North West - Birkenhead Depot
4025 hasnt really seen service since it arrived other than that 1 previously reported trip - it has been off the road for quite some time, it was over the pits on Saturday night! Mechanics have said theyre not worth fixing for the short time theyre staying here, theyve said they have so much wrong with them and so many bodge jobs, the amount it would cost to repair each one isnt worth paying for the short time we have them! Well obviously they have no choice but to fix it as it is needed in service.. if they left it off the road like they wanted to there would be no point having it here at all! Id imagine theyve used parts off that scrap DLA at the back to make 4025 roadworthy rather than spend anything on it. Either that or bodge it up like its former depots did.. Theyve had nothing but trouble with the loaned DLAs since they arrived so theyre trying their best to keep them in as theyre proving more unreliable than the 3 presidents. Speaking of which, 4002 was over the pits last night. I am no longer active on this forum. |
