RE: In the News
With this accident - it looks terrible, the First B6 will be written off and the Arriva B5TL will be fixed, but wow.. Brand new - such a shame really, for the drivers, the passengers and the buses. |

RE: In the News
Hi folks, just a reminder to please maintain some respect toward all involved within the incident at the very least until such a time as an official cause is publicised. Speculation as to whether those involved will keep their jobs or not doesn't really have a place here and as such, I'd ask you all to refrain from comments of that nature. Thanks. |

So, a non-European Pope for the first time in 1200 years it is. Let's hope he does start to make some desperately needed changes to that out-of-touch and crisis-ridden organisation. I'm not religious but still find the elections interesting and the Vatican City a fascinating if sinister place. Channel 4's coverage was absolutely top-drawer in my opinion and they managed to time it perfectly to fit into the 7-8 pm hour.

I'm a Catholic, and the church has faced deeper crises than this in its 2000 year history and survived. As it will this one. However, a moot point is that Pope Francis is the first Jesuit in their 500 year history to attain the papacy - a fact that even some Catholics will view with trepidation. What we will all applaud is that even as a Cardinal he travelled to church on the bus rather than in a chauffeur-driven limo! |

Pope Francis looks like he will be a steadying influence for the Catholic Church after recent scandals . |
