I doubt it, he posts garbage like that to boost his post count, he's irritating.
I don't think that it's to "boost his post-count" - that doesn't even exist on this forum anymore! He just doesn't read what's posted and asks for information that we don't have! He does it right across the board. When he's told something, he ignores it, or doesn't pay any attention to it, and asks again and again! It's irritating.

Lol, didn't know there's no post counts anymore.Big Grin

I know what you mean with the other points, he's doing my head in spamming the forum with garbage posts, with constantly asking questions for info that have already been mentioned in earlier post by other FMs, or impossible to ask questions, until there's more info.

No point crediting a source if they want to remain anonymous!

they still want the information to get out but on a quiet scale, think would you like to know whats going on or not at all?

I meant there's no point saying "this came from so and so", if they don't want their name mentioned! Why bother?!
Of course, do share the 'info, just don't waste time crediting it, unless there is a name that can be made public domain.

Could be for St Helens? Despite it was supposed to be Versa's?

Looks like Solo SRs are arriving and not Versas as first thought!

What is with all that tape on the front though! I wonder had the chrome piece just been glued on and that was holding it down until the glue set!

This looks like a full width Optare Solo SR M970, the longest available as it has the same number of bays as Peoplesbus's Solo SR M960, but has that extra little window behind the cab window.

Optare's website says the current Solo SR is available in in four lengths - 7.2, 7.9, 9.0 and 9.7 metres, with two widths SlimLine 2350mm and Standard 2500mm.

I'll be really dissapointed if this is indeed instead of Versas. The Versa looks much better and is door forward - what's the capacity of these?

The information which St Helens regulars received (including drivers in depot) was that Versas were the plan so I fail to see how being a St Helens regular has anything to do with it.

As for extra examples for Winsford/Wythenshawe, is that confirmed? St Helens management supposedly went up to look at the first of our batch a few weeks back now.

The Solo SRs are probably B33F, as that is the same as Peoplesbus's one which is 10cm shorter (but that isn't WVATC compliant) and a typical standard M920/950 Solo is usually B33F too.
