Looks like D&G can't find a vehicle/driver for the 89 service today. Nothing's tracking and I saw around 6 people waiting for the 11:03 Knutsford to Northwich a few minutes after it should have gone, and they were still there around half an hour after it should have gone.

The ex-Hollinshead Enviros are now tracking on the D&G fleet list, one on the Congleton locals and one on the Macclesfield locals.

Don't read too much into D&G's tracking at the moment. 117 has pretending to be 131 for a few days, and today one of the ex-Cardiff MMCs decided to play at being a Streetlite. While 120 keeps randomly tracking itself at Dove Holes about to work a 58 or 199 service for High Peak.

I noticed there was a bus journey not tracking, so that'll explain why. (Well there's two currently but the other's because 117 thinks it's 131 and 131 is on another journey). I hope the people who were on the bus are OK. It's a shame D&G don't add missing journeys to their app, so passengers don't know whether a vehicle isn't tracking and running late, or whether the journey is cancelled.

So it seems:
13:30 Knutsford - Altrincham 88 CANCELLED due to it being a later working which should have been YX68 ULY (5002).
14:40 Knutsford - Altrincham 88 CANCELLED. It should have been operated by 101 (tracking as 165), but that bus was sent out-of-service from Macclesfield to Altrincham to take over 5002's remaining journeys.
15:40 Knutsford - Altrincham 88 actually operated!

So a 3 hour 10 minute gap in service on what's supposed to be an hourly service!

Also based on tracking 101 seemed to run via the A555 to the M56 junction, so it wouldn't have even picked up the Wilmslow-Altrincham part of the 13:30 journey. It looks like 5002 would have worked a last service, so I'm guessing that's the reason for the switch, but leaving a 3 hour gap in service is unacceptable. They should have even taken a vehicle and driver off the 3/10 to prevent that.

Shame you weren't up the road at the Delta, that's also served by the 288.

An elderly relative of mine was left waiting for 60 minutes because the 14:40 Knutsford-Altrincham was a no show. (She's recently had an operation so can't drive at present). The previous time she used the bus the bus she caught into town was late and it left her with a slot that was too short for to grab the bits she needed from the supermarket. Consequently she had to extend her shopping by a whole hour. D&G aren't exactly doing much to sell the bus as a viable alternative to driving. I'm sure she'll be back in her car as soon as she fully recovers.

I think the 14:40 is also normally used by the St Ambrose pupils, so I'm presuming the 288 driver found a lot more schoolkids boarding than usual.
